Jesus was born into his creation as a man, yet fully God and lived a perfect life so he could become the perfect spotless lamb sacrificed for our sins.

He committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth.

Jesus was betrayed by one of his own disciples and sent to the cross to take our sin upon his shoulders and willingly die for us.

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 6:23

God raised Jesus from the dead three days later. Through his victory on the cross we now have victory and the hope of eternal life in Jesus.

He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’
 - Luke 24:6-7

We are given the Holy Spirit after Jesus ascended back to heaven.

“But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about me.”  - John 15:26

We are the church. Jesus gave us the mission to tell the world about him!

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” - Matthew 28:18-20
